Alterations - obs!

There are some considerable alterations in the open class trail description. So please read it!

There has also been some confusion concerning the rule about wire or cable for securing dogs. These units shall also be used for securing the team in the holding area, hooking them on to the main line. Tug lines made by wire may be approved for this use. It clearly is the mushers responsibility to secure his dogs all the way. Finnmarksløpet has to be very strict on these rules because of the herds of reindeers in the area - but a loose dog may cause a multitude of unwanted incidents as every musher know! It therefore will be expected that the mushers use this safety-equipment when leaving the teams for a longer period of time.
